Namitha Pramod is the new sensation malayalam actress who had gathered a large fan followers in a little span of time. Born at Kumarakam as the daughter of Pramod (business at Kottayam) and Indu, Namitha is currently settled at Thiruvanthapuram. Popular actor Kumarakam Raghunath is the brother of Pramod, her father. She is supported by her younger sister Akhita who stands first being the fan of cute Namitha.

Namitha who is currently pursuing higher secondary education in Humanities at Carmel Girls Higher Secondary School Thiruvanthapuram was dragged into the world of acting while studying in 7th standard. Her glorious face helped to get casted in Vellankanni Mathavu in the role of Mathavu. Later she played the role of Devi in the tele serial Amme Devi and as Anjali in Ente Manasa Puthiri. Her active presence in serials made film maker Rajesh Pillai to cast her in his movie Traffic. Namitha played the role of Riya, the dying daughter of Rahman and Lena. As the movie got well attention and was declared a block buster, the girl got recognized as an actress.

The movie set a strong shield for Namitha who was looking forward for a true opening which could boost her career.
