Malavika Wales is a sizzling actress who works mainly in malayalam film industry. Born at Thrissur to P G Wales (Chartered Accoutant) and Sudhina, Malavika did her schooling at Harisri Vidhyanidhi at Thrissur. After the completion of her studies Malavika flew to Mumbai where she completed a Diploma in acting, dance and martial artts from the famous Anupam Kher's actor prepares -The school for blossoming actors. Keeping her acting career with much regard Malavika is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree English Language and Literature from IGNOU.
The rise of an actress
Malavika who started her career in modeling won various achievements which include Miss Beautiful Eye title in the Miss Kerala Contest of 2009. She made her film appearance through the malayalam movie 'Malarvadi Arts Club' In 2011 Malavika acted in Rajaseenan's movie 'Innanu Aa Kalyanam' with Rajith Menon and Saranya Mohan. She also got a rare chance to become the heroine in documentaries Ayisha and Makarara Manju, both directed by Lenin Rajendran.
She also got casted as heroine in 'Aattakadha' directed by Kannan Perumudiyoor playing the character role of an Anglo-Indian daughter of a Kathakali artiste played by actor Vineeth. She has also been a part of the project 'My Fan Ramu' which combines the Kerala Strikers Cine Cricket Team together which is expected to get released soon.
Meanwhile model turned actress Malavika geared up to make her presence in other south indian movie industries too which included her acting debut in tamil, kannada and telugu. Alagu Magan directed by Alagu Selvi brings the malayalam beauty step into tamil to play as a simple village girl opposite Arjun Vijay giving a real opportunity for the actress to mark a new beginning.
Directed by Sai Prakash, Malavika owes up for a real break in Kannada movie industry (Sandalwood) paired with Komal Kumar an untitled movie, the remake of malayalam movie Thilakkam where the actress will don the character played by Kavya Madhavan. Malavika has also made her Tollywood debut through 'Dhaari', a movie directed by a triangular love story directed by Sreenivas, starring Vishnu and Parameshwar.
Malavika trained in various classical forms of dances including Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi and Kathak made her presence on various stages. Her dancing talent has well been used in movies and is expected to do the same on the coming movies too.
