Kerala SET exam result 2012 published at LBS website

After the de linking of pre degree from colleges, the year 1998 marked the beginning of a new phase of education which came to be called Plus Two which continued after 10th standard examination. The government had introduced the Kerala State Eligibility Test or SET exam which prompted to serve as a medium the best out of the teaching fraternity. Every year a public entrance test will be conducted by a government agency to recruit suitable candidates to fill upraising posts in various higher secondary government schools.

Yearly more than 30,000 candidates appear for the exam and in 2012 a near number including fresh candidates had written the exam with true spirit. In 2012 the exam was conducted at various centres of Kerala on 30th September 2012. As teaching is one of the reputed jobs in Kerala, many candidates who had come across the career with true spirit. The exam which comes in two parts is attended by candidates depending upon the subject they are specialized.

Other than a general paper consisting of general knowledge questions, an additional paper concentrated on specific subjects are also taken by the candidates. Consisting of question papers in 35 disciplines, candidates are given 75 minutes to complete 100 and 120 questions for the exams done at morning and afternoon respectively.

It is known that each candidate have to get 120 marks in total to be eligible for applying for uprising posts in higher secondary. With the arrival of new generation jobs, there had been a tremendous fall in for those who choose teaching as a career. But still the job is considered to be a valuable to many who have dedicated their life for developing the future of students.
