KQ: Parvathy Omanakuttan debut movie in malayalam
KQ movie mark Parvathy Omanakuttan, former Miss World Runner Up debut in malayalam. Directed by actor Baiju Johnson, the movie will have Tamil actor Vetri, Ganesh Kumar, Salim Kumar, Mamukoya and I M Vijyan in supporting cast. The shooting of the movie will begin at Mattancherry and Kochi next week. After appearing in 3 movies, Parvathy has selected KQ to make her debut in malayalam bring a women oriented theme.
Parvathy Omanakuttan, the name rose to global popularity after she was crowned Miss World Runner Up in 2008. Being born as a Keralite, she made the land proud with her achievement. It was United Six, a bollywood movie which had been the launching pad for Parvathy who had enacted her talent in acting in a couple of movies later. After being a part of Billa 2 along with Ajith, Parvathy is marking her first appearance in malayalam through Baiju Johnson's directorial debut titled 'KQ'.
Even though Major Ravi's 'Madan Koli' was projected as a stepping stone for her, the project was cancelled due to some reasons. As women oriented movies are less made in malayalam, Parvathy was expecting for a dream debut in which she could perform her part well. KQ branded under humour genre, tells the tale of the relationship of 2 youngsters and a women journalist. Baiju Johnson and tamil actor Victory will enact as the male lead while Parvathy will play the role of the journalist who pools into the life of them.
The movie was unveiled in an extravagant ceremony held at expensive hotel attended by the major cast and invited guests. Pravathy was spotted in blue top and tight jeans and posed before the camera with her beautiful smile for which she is famous. Parvathy will be seen as a reporter Sunaina representing London Times who is assigned to work in Kochi to study the life of the people. Sunaina enacted to live according to the modern world, doesn't keep herself away from the culture and tradition of her mother land.
Parvathy who had a dream debut with Billa 2, was waiting for a powerful story which made her to give a break to acting. Even though she was getting a handful of offers from malayalam, the character in KQ which stood very close to real life nature made her to join the team. Parvathy is expecting to have a smooth ride in malayalam making MQ as a stepping stone.
Ganesh Kumar, Salim Kumar, Mamukoya and former footballer I M Vijyan will apper in supporting cast in KQ. The shooting of the movie will begin at Mattancherry and Kochi in the coming week. Screenplay and dialogues are written by S. Valath and the art work is done by Koyaz. For the lyrics of Rafeeq Ahamed, Stephen Devassy will set the tunes. After his debut music directorial in 2003 with Hariharan Pillai Happy Annun keyboardist Stephen is back to rock with some melodies and fast numbers. Joman Thomas will zoom the camera while the movie is produced by Renni Baiju.
Parvathy who stepped into the world of glamour as model had been a part of various pageants before stepping into the world of entertainment. Starting from 2005 Miss Malayali and Malayalali Manka, She was titled as Navy Queen in 2006 and 2007 conducted by Cochin Southern Naval Command and Vizag respectively.
So let KQ give a better opportunity for the actress to showcase her acting talents had reach more heights.
