Early Life
Vineeth Suresh is better known by his stage name Hemanth Menon. He was born on 19th April 1989 in Tirur to V.C Suresh Kumar and P. Usha Suresh. He hails from Tirur of Malappuram district. He has done his schooling in Fathima Matha English Medium Higher Secondary School, Tirur, PKMMHSS Edarikode and in Banglore. Then he has completed B-Tech from College of Engineering, Vadakara, affiliated to CUSAT University. Hemanth has learned music and used to sing during college programs. He has a elder sister by the name Divya, she is married to Sooraj and is settled in Sydney. They have a son - Saarang. His sister is a singer by profession. Filmography
Hemanth Menon's entry into the silver screen was accidental. His first movie was a Malayalam romantic movie "Living Together", directed by Fazil in the year 2010. Hemanth and Sreelekha played lead roles in this movie. During a train journey, Rajan Joseph, son of Late Jose Prakash has met Hemanth and it is the conversation between then which gave an entry for Hemanth to film industry. Rajan Joseph had told Fazil about this guy whom he met during a journey thus Fazil had asked Hemanth to send some of his pictures and finally he was called for audition. Hemanth was selected for the role from among 500 aspirants who came for audition. Even though this movie was a flop, he was lucky enough to be a hero in his first movie itself.
His second movie was another romantic comedy film "Doctor Love", directed by K. Biju in 2011 starring Kunchacko Boban(Vinayachandran), Bhavana(Ebin), Ananya(Gauri), Manikkuttan(Vengidi), Rejith Menon, Salim Kumar, Vijayaraghavan, Nedumudi Venu, Hemanth (Roy Mathews), Vidya Unni(Manju), Gimi George, Aju Varghese, Nimisha, Shari and so on. The movie was a hit movie and was accepted by Malayalees.
In 2012, Hemanth Menon acted in the blockbuster movie "Ordinary", directed by Sugeeth. It was a comedy drama starring Kunchacko Boban, Biju Menon, Asif Ali, Jishnu, Shritha Sivadas and Ann Augustine in the lead roles. Hemanth also got a chance to act in the movie "Chattakari", written by Thoppil Basi. It is the remake of the old Malayalam movie. In this movie Hemanth plays the male lead role and Shamna Kasim played the female lead role. The film was directed by K.S Sethumadhavan. Hemanth had said in an interview that so far he has acted in movies only as a decent guy but in this movie he get to act as a flirty guy.
Hemanth has acted with the young superstar Prithviraj in a romantic thriller "Ayalum Njanum Thammil", directed by Lal Jose. This movie too was a hit. He also got an opportunity to act in another Malayalam movie "Chapters", directed by debutant director Sunil Ibrahim. The movie talks about four friends and Hemanth is one among them.
