Santosh Trophy 2013 Kerala team lead by P Rahul is set for the game. The Kerala team players has been announced for 67th National Santhosh Trophy Tournament held on Kerala and Uttar Pradesh by Kerala Football Association President K M I Mather. Kerala team for 67th National Santosh Trophy Football Tournament has announced by the Kerala Football Association President K M I Mather here on February 17th 2013. The team will be lead by the midfielder P Rahul. M. Jacob will continue as the Chief Coach of the 2013 Kerala Santhosh Trophy team while Rajeev Kumar will also assist him in his duty. A M Sreedharan will be the team Technical Director for the Kerala football team. 
Santosh Trophy 2013 is the 67th edition of this main state competition in Indian football. Santosh Trophy 2013 co-hosted by Kerala and Uttar Pradesh has started from 1st February and will last up to 3rd March. All the 31 states of India will participate in the largest football tournament in India. Among this four teams will get direct entry to quarter final, those are the semifinalists of the last Santosh Trophy tournament held in 2012 at Orissa. Services are the defending champions of this tournament after beating Tamilnadu on 66th National Santosh Trophy in 2012. Kerala, Tamilnadu, Manipur and Services are the teams who got direct entry to quarter finals of Santosh Trophy 2013. All the teams are categorized in 4 groups in quarter final. Top team of each group will enter into semifinals of Santosh Trophy. Kochi Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium will host semifinals and final of 67th National Santosh Trophy Football Tournament 2013.
Kerala team has announced 20 men squad for 67th Santosh Trophy football tournament which will be hosted on their home ground. Kerala police player P Rahul will lead the 20 member squad for Kerala in Santosh Trophy 2013 tournament. Kerala team have been drawn in Group C of the quarter final league set to be played in Kochi. 12 players, who played last edition of Santosh Trophy has found place in the Kerala team list for Santosh Trophy 2013 while three members would be new faces and other 5 players are those who had played Santhosh Trophy in 2011. The selection committee has added that, they have selected young and energetic players with an average of 22 years. Kerala football team fans and lovers are all set to watch the moment when Kerala team lifts the winner's trophy of 2013 Santosh Trophy Football Tournament on their home ground. This time the committee has chosen the strongest possible combination for the match. Even they have failed against College Eleven in their first friendly match, they have managed a big win over Eagle FC which gives us much positive hopes about the team.
