Kerala football team lead by P Rahul has entered the semifinal of the 67th national Santosh trophy football tournament. The team has marched into semifinal as the group champions. Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir are the other teams in the group. In the second semifinal, Punjab will face defending champions Services on 1 March 2013 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Kochi.

Kerala football team has defeated Jammu Kashmir in their first match in 67th Santosh trophy quarter finals by (2-0). Forward R Kannan has scored both goals for the winning team in the match. Kerala's defender Sajith was selected as the man of the match in the first match for his outstanding play against Jammu Kashmir. Even though, it was not a convincing win for Kerala football team, it gave confidence for the team to move forward.
The team has defeated Uttar Pradesh in their second match in 67th Santosh trophy quarter final by (3-2). Usman P (15′ PEN), Kannan R (17′), Shibin Lal VK (28′) were the goal scorers for the winning team. Kerala's left back Johnson was picked as the man of the match for the against Uttar Pradesh.
Kerala did needed only a draw against Haryana to enter semifinals of the 2013 Santosh Trophy 2013 tournament. Kerala how ever settled with a draw against Haryana by (1-1). R Kannan has scored the goal for Kerala in this match.Kannan was named the man of the match in the 3rd match against Haryana.
Kerala vs Maharashtra Santosh trophy in Semi final
Kerala team will face Maharashtra in 67th Santosh Trophy Semifinal match on 28th February 2013. The match will be held from 6.00pm at Jawaharlal Nehru stadium. The ticket for the semifinals and final of the tournament will be available from selected branch of Federal bank all over Kerala.
Ticket charge will be as follows. Chair A- 100 Rs, Chair B- 50 Rs, Gallery – 20 Rs. The second semi final will be held on 1st March 2013 at Kochi Jawaharlal Nehru stadium followed by the final on 3rd March 2013.
