Otta Oruthiyum Shariyalla: Renjini Haridas and Praveen in lead roles

The concept of malayalam movie making has taken a leap forward with the entry of new generation film makers. There had been a vibrant trend in the selection of themes and appropriate names for movies. Debutant Syam – Praveen is making their directorial debut with the movie titled 'Otta Oruthiyum Shariyalla'.

What is there in a name? The theme of 'Otta Oruthiyum Shariyalla' is centered upon the life of Mathew a taxi driver who hates women. The movie keeps on tracking the reasons for his hate towards women. Praveen, a budding actor who had made his presence in Nee Ko Nja Cha will don the role of Mathew. Even though the story stands by the side of men, it is not a film which does not speak against women.

Praveen Anidil who made his debut with Nee Ko Nja Cha, Renjini Haridas, debutants Girish Parameshwar and Maria George will play significant roles in the movie. Produced by Vishnu Vijayan, the pooja function of 'Otta Oruthiyum Shariyalla' was held recently while the movie started rolling on 20th February. Thakara, a famous band group in Kerala will tune 2 majestic songs which would stand different from others.

Syam – Praveen have scripted the movie while Faisal. V Khalid would wield the camera zooming through various locations. Ranjini Haridas, well known as a television anchor is making her second entry on big screen after her debut Entry. She will play a vital role in 'Otta Oruthiyum Shariyalla'.

Even though Entry didn't succeed in the box office, Renjini is heading up to give another experiment on screen with 'Otta Oruthiyum Shariyalla', a movie which focuses on the life of boys who are being cheated by women. Renjini was waiting for a different character suitable for her mind which landed her in the current movie. "What the F (WTF)" directed by Rupesh Paul is her next in line.
