Honey Bee: Jean Paul Lal 'N' young brigades ready for a royal ride

Jean Paul Lal also known as Lal Jr is ready to take on his father's name and pride with his entry into the tinsel town. The shooting of his directorial debut 'Honey Bee' is at its closing stage with a couple more days left for the pack up.

Graduated from the New York Film Academy, Jean has well experienced behind the screen directing a handful of short films. 'Debt', a malayalam short film featuring Lal and Aarayan Menon in lead which was made as a project for the New York Film Academy was screened at the prominent film festivals all over the world.

Jean Paul Lal is entering the big league with 'Honey Bee' which will bring the young brigades of malayalam film industry onto a single platform. The movie will feature Asif Ali, Lal, Siddique, Baburaj, Siqqique, Suresh Krishna, Hasim, Sreenath Bhasi, Vijay Babu, Balu, Bhavana, Lena Abhilash and Archana Kavi.

The movie set against the backdrop of Fort Kochi deals with friendship of youngsters. Sebastian (Asif Ali), Abu (Sreenath Bhasi), Ambrose Perera (Balu), Fernandez Disilva (Baburaj), Angel (Bhavana), and Sara (Archana Kavi) are the members of a music band based in Fort Kochi.

The six friends have a strong bondage among them. Sara is the sister of Ambrose. Angel's brothers H C Michael (Lal), Martin (Siddique), Father Cochin (Suresh Krishna) and Antony (Hashim) add more fun to the company as they are nicknamed Punyalan brothers by others.

Angel (Bhavana) is in love with Sebastian while she gets a marriage proposal from SI George. Will Angel marry SI George? The rest of the events connected with the proposal will take the story of the movie to the next stage. For the lyrics set by Santhosh Varma, Deepak Dev has moved his magical fingers. The cinematography is safe in the hand od Albi. 'Honey Bee' is produced by Siby Thottupuram and Joby Mundamattom under the banner of SJM Entertainment.

The shooting of the movie has been halted for a week following a minor accident happened to Asif Ali. With the injury been cured, the movie will be wrapped up in a week and would go for its post production works. So get ready for a pleasure trip headed by Jean Paul.
