St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology is a pioneer for the nature with beautiful environments and sceneries spreading over almost 15 acres of land with an attractive lake in front. The college is away from the disturbances of the city in harmony with nature. The College is situated in Kozhuvallor hardly 6km from Chengannur, 15km from Mavelikara and 10km from Pandalam and is converted to major cities both by railways and roadway networks. This is the first college to get AICTE approval in 2010-11 with a high quality faculty. The pleasant condition inside the campus is apt for the proper education and healthy development of students. With full discipline and commitment of each and everyone, the campus has now reached sky high.

The College is affiliated to Kerala and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Government of Kerala has even given approval for the College. This College is established by St. Thomas Educational Society, Adoor Tower, Adoor with a vision of providing education by embracing opportunities by the use of advanced technology. The College is rich with experienced people in the educational field for medicine, business and engineering. 'Mrs. Gracy Babu' – President, Mr. Jose Thomas – Secretary and Mr. Jacob Thomas – Treasurer, all together comprises the governing body of society. The director of the institute is Dr. E. V. Mathew. In T.K.M College of Engineering Kollam and College of Engineering Adoor, he was the head of Mechanical department and was also the Founder Principal of Caarmel Engineering College Perunad, Ranni.

• Computer Lab: The College is also running along with the pace of changes that are happening for technologies in the world by providing the students with new software, hardware and well developed networking. A total of 170 workstations with proper access to all the students and staffs.


• Library: The central library of the college provides a proper environment for the students who are craving for knowledge. They go deep into the books and grasp the ideas very well. The college with a membership in DELNET in New Delhi helps the students and staffs for 1500 e-journal access, facility of taking books through loans and much more.


• Hostel Facilities: The College with clean, clam, well furnished and comfortable hostel provides a homely feeling for the students who are away from their home. Boys and girls have separate hostels with respective wardens to take care of their academic and other developments.

All the latest advancements that this branch brinks day by day are being informed to the students at the right time as this as this branch has a worldwide popularity.



• Electronics and Electronic engineering (60 seats)
  This department is very well known for its highly talented and creative engineers. The campus provides full facilities with modern type equipments and always keeps the students aware about the changes in this sector. The college craves for some talented students to this sector.



• Civil engineering (60 seats)
  This is an upcoming sector with sure placements due to its availability of a lot of branches within. As India is a developing country, civil engineers will have great job opportunities. Civil engineering department is well developed for the students to have more training in constructions, strength of materials, buildings etc. The college takes full precautions and safety measures for the students.



• Mechanical engineering (60 seats)
  This is the most popular and high demanding sector due to the large number of sections that it provides for the students. With the modern laboratories and field level experiences, the students can improve their theoretical knowledge into practical.
