New generation marriage in Kerala

Things have been changed in God's own country. Marriage in Kerala had now become an entertainment more than a get together like earlier times. The wedding planners says that the new generation is behind this abrupt changes in Kerala. Yes it is, traditions and ceremonies of our state are changing with generation.

What had changed? Now a days, the bride and groom found out their wedding planner suitable for their occasion as soon after fixing their marriage. Moreover, the friends and close relatives take in charge of these positions who mostly depends upon the internet and social network to make the moments of wedding ceremony unforgettable.Wedding dress designers are also now an indispensable members of this occasion. However, people who imports wedding suits from abroad are not often less in our state.They don't care even if they had to go to foreign countries to buy wedding dresses. The fact about the young generation of Kerala is that, whatever the expenses may, the occasion of wedding should be awesome.

With the emerging new trends in Photography, the wedding photography also changed a lot. Wedding albums now became a history which had been replaced by 'Digital book' or 'Wedding movie'. Now a group of technicians are used to cover the video of the ceremony who shots the occasion as beautiful as a big budget movie. HMA lights, trolleys, crane,and highly efficient cameras are used for this purpose. The bride and groom traveling to foreign countries for photography has now become a trend in Kerala. New trends in Invitation letters had also been released in Modern Kerala. Invitation letters decorated with flowers or sweets, or designed like a book are the new trends.

Entertainment Programs depends upon the occasion. Stages and DJ parties are the critical parts of marriage parties which begins two or three days before the marriage. North Indian marriage specials like 'Sangeeth','Barath', 'Mehndhi' are now celebrating in most places of Kerala on this occasion. A mini 'La Tomatina', the famous Spanish festival using tomatoes had also been tried in a home at Cochin (Kochi).

Marriage Receptions are now arranged based on the themes like Palace themes, Jungle themes,Paris themes, etc, i.e, if a family is using Paris theme for the reception a model of Eiffel tower will be there. Based on these themes the dances are also included such as Arabian dance, Russian belly dance or North Indian dances which makes the ceremony mind blowing. Wedding receptions now become more like an award night or television stage program now in Kerala. The trends in food is also a noticeable change in Kerala wedding. Along with the traditional Kerala food varieties of dishes such as North-Indian dishes, Arabic dishes, Italian dishes, French dishes and Spanish dishes arranged in separate corners offers a beautiful sight for the visitors.

The development in lifestyle and technology had bring a lot of changes in ceremonies and celebrations in Kerala. The wedding occasions are now becoming an exotic locations where the friends and relatives of the bride and groom get together and enjoy the auspicious life time moments. The parents are now spending a huge expense to make the occasion of their son's or daughter's marriage as luxurious and beautiful as in their dreams.
