Sabarimala, the next Tirumala Tirupathi
Sabarimala, the next Tirumala Tirupathi
Hi friends in this resource we will see an interesting news about the world popular temple, Sabarimala Ayappa Temple. I knew it is really unfair to compare Tirupathi and Sabarimala, because both are very unique and special in their own way and each temple has its own specialty. Millions of people gather to both the temple every year and these two are considered as the powerful assets for the Indian Government because apart from being a greatest pilgrimage center in the world, these temples also contribute financially. To some extent we can say that Tirupathi might lead Sabarimala when it comes to revenue earned in a year. But at the same time this doesn't mean Sabarimala temple doesn't earn any money because very soon they will earn revenue close to Sabarimala. But Sabarimala will lead Tirupathi when it comes to the money earned in a short span, because a recent report reveals that Sabarimala Ayappa temple has earned a record amount of Rs 119.15 crore during the Mandalam-Makaravilakku festival alone and this is a record, because it is more than Rs. 15 crores than that of the previous year.
Hill shrine of Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple previously earned Rs.103.59 crores during the last year festival and to be precise this is Rs. 15.56 crores lesser than this year. This proves that the profit is increasing linearly every year. This statistics were reported by Travancore Devaswom Board. Apart from this, another data reveals that after the commencement of Makaravilakku season the revenue increased to Rs. 35.15 crores an dth eprevious year earning was Rs. 30.96 crores.
Let us see the income individually,
The income from,
Kanikka - Rs 15.27 crore,
The sale of Aravana - Rs 14.79
The sale of Appam - Rs 2.38 crore
We can say this is very high revenue and hope the money earned is used for the welfare and the development of people
Thank you for reading the resource.
