Christian brothers and some Controversies

'The big budget Malayalam film 'Christian brothers' has been in rivalry from the start of the project. Organizers, actors and all are making criticism about the film and it's makers. The main issues are listed below;


1.Actor Prithviraj
It is Prithiraj who was the first one to be the part in rivalry. The film was planned to direct with Suresh Gopi and Prithviraj as Mohanlal's brothers. But, even before discussing this fact to Prithviraj, Joshy announced it to the public. This made the young actor annoy and he made an easy escape from the film. But now he may be thinking it as a wrong step.


2. Veteran Actor Thilakan
Thilakan has problems with the superstars for years. It got a new dimension recently. According to Thilakan, he was removed from the film 'Christian brothers' by a superstar in Malayalam industry. He meant Mammotty as that superstar. But later, the producers of the film,Anoop and Subair, made it clear that there was no such influence from any of the superstars in the omission of Thilakan from the film.


3. Innocent
This is also another omossion case. He declared this fact recently( July 2010) that he too was omitted from the film. Before the shooting, actor Dileep had been saying him that he has a role in the movie. But he is now left with none in 'Christian brothers'.


4. KFPA Issue
Kerala Film Producers Association is also in this list. They wanted to ban the film for it's huge budget. The budget of the film was first estimated to be Rs. 8.5 crores. But this made the association against 'Christian brothers' saying that this will hammer other small and medium producers in Malayalam film industry. Then the producers of 'Christian brothers' cut down the budget to Rs. 3.5 crores.
