The exam procedure has been divided in to three. There will be a preliminary exam, final exam and an interview. The preliminary exam will be conducted on 9th April 2011. Those who pass the preliminary exams are eligible for the main exam which will be conducted on July 16th. If the candidate passes both of these exams, they will be taken for an interview. Syllabus for Preliminary exams
For the preliminary exams, there will be an objective test for 75 minutes and for 100 marks.
1. General Knowledge and Current affairs- 50 marks
2. English language, vocabulary and grammar- 25 marks
3. Test of Reasoning including quantitative aptitude (SSLC level)-25 marks
The medium of exam will be in English
Syllabus for Final exam
Final exam include two papers. The first paper will be related to General Studies and the second paper will be more of general writing section which includes article writing etc.

3. Kerala Economy
Part III: General Overview of Indian Constitution
