Urumi is Snthosh Sivan's letest film in Malayalam after Anandabhadram which was released in 2004. The script of Urumi is written by Shankar Ramakrishnan who was the script writer of the part movie named Island Express in Kerala Cafe. The beautiful songs of Urumi is composed by Deepak Dev. This is Deepak Dev's second combination with Prithviraj after the film Puthiyamukham.
