Kochi-based Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to its MBBS Program 2011. MBBS course duration is 4-1/2 years followed by one year compulsory internship. There are 100 seats available for MBBS.
For BDS 60 seats are available. Course duration is 5 yrs followed by 6 months' optional internship.Details

Age
Minimum 17 years and maximum 23 years as on or before 31st December, 2011
Education
Pass in +2 in first attempt. Must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English individually and have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in English and 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology taken together, from any state higher secondary board or equivalent. NRI's and PIO who qualify from foreign universities will have to produce an equivalence certificate from the AIU, New Delhi; those who appear for the qualifying examination in March/April 2011 can also applyMode of Selection
An all India level entrance test will be held on 22nd May, 2011, 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. selection will be made based on the performance in the test.
