Kerala-based Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to its M.Sc. Nursing Program for the year 2011. Amrita School of Medicine offers M.Sc. Nursing in the following areas: Medical-Surgical Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing, and Community Nursing. The course is of 2-year duration.Eligibility
• The candidate should be a registered nurse and registered midwife with any state nursing council
• The candidate should have passed B.Sc Nursing or B.Sc Hons Nursing or post basic B.Sc Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks from an Institution recognized by Indian nursing council
• Candidates should be medically fit
• Minimum 1 year of work experience after basic B.Sc Nursing or prior or after post basic B.Sc NursingSelection
