Central Institute of Fisheries, Nautical & Engineering Training (CIFNET), Kochi, Kerala, invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to 4-year (8 Semester) Bachelor of Fishery Science (Nautical Science) course for the session 2011-15.Eligibility for B.Fsc(N.S)
Applicant should have passed 10 + 2 with minimum 50% marks in English, 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% aggregate marks in the other science subjects. SC/ST students, need only a pass in the qualifying examination with the above subjects. Applicant should be minimum of 17 years of age and maximum of 20 years of age as on 1st October 2011.Admission Process
There are three phases in the admission process.
Admission will be based on (i) Common Entrance Test (CET), to be conducted by CIFNET at Kochi on 5th June, 2011 (ii) Academic performance in qualifying examination (Plus Two/HSE) and (iii) Interview to be conducted on 18th July, 2011.Application for B.Fsc(N.S) in CIFNET
Application from and Prospectus can be obtained by Post from the Director, CIFNET, Fine Arts Avenue, Kochi-682016, by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST) drawn in favour of 'Senior Administrative Officer, CIFNET', payable at Ernakulam and a self-addressed envelope of A4 size, with stamp worth Rs.15/- affixed.
