There was no competition at all for him in this constituency and it was an easy win for Dominic Presentation. He won the election by a margin of 16503 in comparison to his immediate rival M.C Josphine of CPI(M). Dominic Presentation is a committee member of the Indian National Congress (INC). He won the Kochi constituency election with 56352 votes in Ernakulam district of Kerala.
Dominic Presentation is a Congress Leader and is actively connected with sports and cultural activities. He was born in February 19th, 1949 to Shri Felix Presentation and Smt Rosamma. His wife's name is Dr Mary Abraham and he has one daughter. He has achieved a graduate degree and joined politics as a student. He has taken charge as District President of Kerala Students Union (KSU), District Secretary, Youth Congress and General Secretary of DCC, Ernakulam. He has many other achievements to his portfolio such as member of Cochin Corporation Council from 1988 to 1994, Leader of Opposition in the Corporation Council, Minister for Fisheries and Sports from 2004 and a member of Organising Committee of Santhosh Trophy and Organising committee of Nehru Gold Cup.
