The monsoon brings a big relief from summer heat, but one of the dark sides of the this season is that it brings lots of problems to our skin. So we must give extra care to our skin. Otherwise it will cause extensive and permanent damage to the skin.
One of the main problems in Monsoon is fungal infection. A fungus grows in humidity and could easily make a way into the skin through pores. It will result the development of itchy,circular, rough, reddish patches on the body. We can easly solve this by the use of an anti-fungal soap and the anti-fungal powder. Never keep your skin wet for a long time.
Another problem brought by the rainy season is the oily and dull skin . Oily skin leads to pimples .It is best to wash your face with water at least 3-4 times a day.
Below are some common skin care tips that you should follow in monsoon:
Drink plenty of water for good skin.
Take daily bath twice.
Try to keep you skin always dry.
It is best to wear cotton cloths.
For dry skin during Monsoon, just appy rose water and glyserin on face, hands and legs
Avoid heavy make up.
Try to follow vegiterian rich diet.
If your skin is getting dry and it gives you an irritating feeling, then just moisturise it. Apply rose water, glycerin, honey, almond or moisturiser before sleep.
If your skin is oily, or blackheads and whiteheads are noticeable and growing more like a weed. Then reduce the oil from skin by using water based moisturisers, cleansing it multiple times, drinking excess of water and applying citrus fruit peel pack.
Clean the skin: Non-soapy face wash to be used for deep cleansing. Clean the skin 3 - 4 times a day, which helps your pores to breath and get cleansed.
Toning your skin: Toning should be done by morning or night. Non-alcoholic toner must be used to avoid skin eruption and infection as to avoid pimples.
Moisturising the skin: Moisturiser should be used according to your skin type.
Shield the skin by sunscreens: Sunscreen is beneficial as it helps in protecting the skin from harmful UV rays.
Scrubbing: Scrub gently twice to exfoliate the dead skin and let the skin get suppler.
