Birth of Nishan
Nishan was born in Coorg in Karnataka a neighboring state of Kerala in India. He studied in Kolkata. Nishan's Career
Nishan completed an acting course in the FTII institute, Pune and obtained a diploma in acting. After obtaining the diploma, he went to Mumbai for trying his luck in Bollywood. He acted in a Hind film by name Cycle Kick of Subhash Ghai which was never released. When he did not get another chance in Bollywood he came to South and got a chance for acting in Telugu film 'Manorama' in 2009. After this his role was noted. Though his actual debut film was Cycle Kick in Hindi the practical debut can be considered as the Telugu Manorama in 2009. He again went to Mumbai to try luck again.
During the course he got a call from the Malayalam Director Shyamaprasad for playing the lead role in 'Ritu'. He was apprehensive to do Malayalam film as he felt the language is very tough and he may find it extremely difficult. On the encouragement from Shyamaprasad he agreed. This film Ritu was his actual career break. After this he was called by Sibi Malayil for his film 'Apoorvaragam'. This film became a 'sleeper hit'. Sleeper hit means a surprise hit or an unexpected hit or unexpected recognition. His next film is 'Note Out' a comedy film by a newcomer director Naduvil Kutty.
