M A Yousuf Ali Biography

Mr. Yusuffali is the Managing Director of EMKE Group of companies who is now in a position among the best NRI Business Personalities. He is really a proud to all Keralites because of his social, political and welfare activities. He proves his prime roles in the social and economical developments in Kerala in which Smart City Project is one example.

Mr.Yusuffali M.A was born in a Muslim family in Thrissur District in Kerala. He is married to Shabira and he is a father of three daughters namely Shabeena, Shafeena and Shifa.

Emke Group is Head Quarted in Abu Dhabi (UAE) comprises of famous Super Markets, Shopping Malls, Department Stores, Recreation Centres, and Hyper Markets etc. across the Gulf Countries. Emke Group provides job shelter for around 27000 people from different parts of the world.

The major portion of employees in the famous Lulu Shopping Malls is people from Kerala. He also put forward significant role in Smart City project and other alliances.

He has also worked for Hindus and Christians in Gulf countries for their secure life and with his close association with the Gulf Government Authorities helped to built Churches in Gulf countries. Many Charitable activities have been logged in his career.

In 2005, he got Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award by the then President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

In 2008, he is awarded "Padma Shri" by Honorable President of India -H.E. Smt.Pratibha Devisingh Patil.

In 2010, he became the Businessman of the Year Award by the State Forum of Bankers' Clubs- Kerala for his contributions towards the economic and financial development of the country.
