Mohanlal and Mammootty in Randamoozham

If the rocketing romours are becoming true, the Malayalam film industry as well as the fans will be getting something big to celebrate. According to the latest coming reports, 'Randamoozham', the masterpiece novel by M T Vasudevan Nair is getting portrayed on the celluloid. Though the news has the age of years, it is again coming to the spotlight. Reports suggest that MT is working on the script. The movie will be directed by the hit maker Hariharan. His last film 'Pazhassiraja' teaming up with MT and Mammootty was a hit.

The most notable point of the current project is also the presence of the Megastars Mohanlal and Mammootty. As the reports say Mohanlal will be potraying the role of Bheeman and Mammootty will be in the role of Duryodhanan. The film is reported to have a huge cast including some big names of other language cinema industries. Since the stalwarts of Malayalam cinema is uniting under a hit making director with the platform of a solid story, the expectations are flying high. The superstars are uniting for the first time after Twenty-Twenty that was produced by Dileep for AMMA. Randamoozham is regarded as one of the greatest novels ever written in Indian languages. It has been translated to several Indian and foriegn languages, including English. The novel is the narration of the epic Mahabharata in the perspective of Bheema, the second of the Pandavas. It has won numerous awards and honours for MT and stands as a classic.

The legendary characters like Yudhishtira, Arjuna, Duryodhana, Karna, Draupadi, Kunthi and others will be portrayed on the screen by talented actors. The director is ready to raise the film to International standards. The film will be produced by Gokulam Gopalan in the banner of Gokulam Movies. As per the sources, the shoot will start in January.
