Early life and family life of Malayalam film actor Asif Ali


Asif Ali is a young talented Malayalam film actor who was born in Ranni on 4th February 1986 as the eldest son of M.P. Shoukath Ali and Molly. Later, the family shifted their residence to Karikkode near Thodupuzha. Mr. M.P Shoukath Ali was the former Municipal chairman of Thodupuzha municipality. Asif Ali completed his School education in De Paul Public School at Thodupuzha and Rajarshi Memorial School at Puthankurishu. He did graduation in Business Administration from Marian College, Kuttikanam. Asif's parents dreamt to make him an Engineer or a business man but Asif wished to become an actor. Before entering the film field, Asif has an acting experience in an album named 'Himamazhayil'. During his college days Asif had done modeling for an advertisement and also had worked as a video Jockey(VJ). His debut Malayalam movie was a musical film named Ritu directed by Shyamaprasad which gave him a break to keep his foot strong in the movie industry.

Asif Ali's entered in to malayalam film field through Shyamaprasad's musical film Ritu co- starring with famous artists Rima Kallingal and Nishan. After the debut film Ritu, Asif acted in a super hit movie ‘Kadha Thudarunnu', co starring with Padma Shri Jayaram and Mamta Mohandas. The movie Kadha Thudarunnu was a box office hit. His third film was Apoorvaragam, directed by Sibi Malayil. Then he had acted in a number of movies like Best Of Luck, Ithu Nammude Kadha, Traffic, Violin, Salt N' Pepper, Sevens, Indian Rupee, Doctor Love and Asuravithu. Most of the movies were big success in box office. The super hit film Salt N' Pepper made him a permanent figure to be one of the upcoming stars in Malayalam movie Industry. Now he has become one of the busiest actors in malayalam with hand full of movies. In Salt N' Pepper Asif Ali paired with actress Mythili and co- starring with Lal and Swetha Menon. His roles in Kadha Thudarunnu, Violin, Salt N' Pepper etc reveals his talents and also to be one of the upcoming super star in malayalam film field.
