According to the latest news, the expert panel on Friday decided that the C vault of the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple will open on Monday. The expert Committee, they were appointed by the Supreme Court, on Thursday approached the Supreme Court for seeking permission to open the unopened Vaults of the Temple, they were sealed by the Trivandrum Principal Sub- Court. The Supreme Court on Thursday permitted the committee to open the Vault C of Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. On Monday, the expert Panel will open Vault C as permitted by the Supreme Court.
The head of the expert committee, M.V Nair, said that the majority of the articles those were unearthed from Vault F and E were added to the inventory, they are silver plates and utensils used for pooja purposes in Temple. The precious stones unearthed from vaults E and F will be documented in next week, about ten articles including gold plates and utensils were documented on Friday. As per the decision of Expert Committee the remaining documentation process of the unearthed treasure from E and F vaults and the documentation process of C vaults will be carry on at the same time.
Seven articled unearthed from Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple were documented on the first day and 10 articles on the second day. Totally there are six vaults in Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. The documentation process began on Monday with the inventory of vaults E and F. To avoid manual intervention there has been installed Digital Archiving of Temple Antiques (DATA), it will also categorize the unearthed treasure into three. The Supreme Court also ordered that the presence of advocates commission they were appointed by Sub- Court is not needed during the documentation process of vault C.
