The resignation of R Selvaraj who was an MLA from Neyyatinkara on March 9 necessitated a by election in the constituency in less than a period of one year. The resignation of R Selvaraj came just before the Piravom by election which gave a real shock for the CPI (M) as the party really trampled there with a huge margin. R Selvaraj who contested on the CPI (M) party ticket had won 2 elections.

The people of Kerala had to witness a series of political dramas which came in a row just after R. Selvaraj announced his resignation. Selvaraj who quit his MLA post and also his membership from CPI (M) made a vow not be a part of Congress, just after calling a media conference after submitting his resignation to the Speaker. But he changed his mind the next day taking back a step from what he said on the day of resignation.

While the CPI (M) confirmed F Lowrence, a member of the Parassala Block Panchayat as the official candidate of the LDF front. Even though Lawrance is a part of the major community in the consistency, as he not a well known figure the CPI(M) should have ride a huge campaign to make him familiarize to the voters.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took the bye election much seriously and has fielded the senior most leader of the party O Rajagopal for the Neyyattinkara by poll election. The candidature of Rajagopal at Neyyatinkara has been talked as a wise decision from the party as he is much capable of gathering votes in favour of him. With the resignation of Selvaraj, the LDF front has to move a step back having an MLA short after the formation making 67 MLA's in the assembly while the ruling UDF front could stabilize with 72 MLA's among the 140 member state assembly following the thrilling win at Piravam.

In the recent developments in Kerala politics following the death of T P Chandrasekharan leader of Revolutionary Marxist Party, allegations made upon CPI (M) appears to be like the Demosthenes sword hanging over them. Even though the party has come forward to defend the accusations made upon them, hands aim towards the party as the charisma of T P Chandrasekharan (an ex member of the CPI(M)) remained as a question mark for the existence of party at the local level. Neyyattinkara will Vote for Shri O. Rajagopal. The most sincere politician left in Kerala, today.

CPM needs to ensure selvaraj's defeat and large number of votes will flow to BJP. Also regional congress leaders and traditional gandhians are not happy about selvaraj's candidature. This will lead the best shot for BJP's O Rajagopal...

He is the only man who has put incredible efforts for kerala railways when he was deputy minister in Vajpayee Govt..
Look around kerala how many new trains he introduced,
how many new stations he installed, how many stations upgraded to model stations..
how many railway bridges and highway overbridges...
Those who travel from Calicut to Kannur, they know how many level crossings where converted into over-bridges when BJP was in power.
Just compare with UPA govt and Vajpayee govt..

People of Neyyattinkara got a wonderful opportunity to create history by electing Sri. Rajettan. Because....
He never switched politics from one party to other side...
He never took any bribe.
He never brought in his son/daughter into politics.
He never opened a Swiss Bank account.
He never have an enemy.
Clean life....
Neat family man...

People of Neyyattinkara have a chance to elect a clean person who cannot be termed as a politician in the true meaning of present-day-politicians at all. So,use your chance; kick out of the 'kandam chaadikal'. Kick out the 'kolayalikal'. Kick out the '2G scamsters'.

VOTE FOR O RAJAGOPAL.. "Justice for all.. Appeasment for none.."
