Academy of Medical Science was founded by Shri.K.Karunakaran on 30th September in 1994. It is a premier medical college in Kannur city, Kerala District. It is a self-financing college and accredited to Indian Medical Council under the supervising of Kerala medical council. Hospital inside its campus was established in 1996 with 300beds. Library facility: Library is digitalized and it contains more than 25,000 books with new technologies. 1000 books are foreign journals and magazines.
