The Al-Ameen College Edathala started was started in 1981. In 1981 this college was started by AI- Ameen Educational Trust, Kochi. It is one of the first affiliated arts and Science College with University of Kerala. The Al-Ameen College has wonderful campus which was built on a plot of 25 acres and completely built by rubber trees and coconut groves and also it has verdant, luscious green.
Hostel facility: The hostel facility is available for women students. The hostel infrastructure is really wonderful. Healthy foods are available in college hostel itself. Hostel rooms are really comfortable and enough for all students.
Library: The library was built with huge area which has individual section or category for all type of books. Each department books or textbooks are arranged in separate section. The library is really helpful for all poor students in college. All library books are indexed in library special software.
Co-operative store: A co-operative store is available in college campus which was started in June 2003. The main advantage of this store is to provide books and stationery needs for students with best and optimum price.

If students are not settled their payment within last date, then they must pay Rs. 51 fine amount.
