Popular south Indian actress Meera Jasmine is on a comeback after taking a break from action and cut. Making her debut through Soothradharan, the actress had been a part of 52 projects opening space in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. She was raved as the leading actress in South India for her acting brilliance. Even with the arrival of many new faces, the stardom of Meera remained vacant as film makers were much known about her living performance before camera.
After taking a time off from movies, Meera is back in power with two major projects which are based on female oriented themes. Babu Janardhanan's Lisammayude Veedu and Shajiyem's Miss Lekha Tharoor Kaanunnathu will showcase the majestic performance of the actress who had made name for her unique character presentation on screen.
If Lisammayude Veedu is a sequel to the 2006 movie Achanurangatha Veedu, Miss Lekha Tharoor Kaanunnathu will be portrait a different theme which revolves around a game show. Director Shajiyem thinks that none in the industry other than Meera could do justice to the role. Meera is casted in lead who plays the character role of a TV game host who perceives things in different way.
This dark fantacy movie will walk through the track which malayalam movie industry haven't traveled. As the lead character 'Miss Lekha Tharoor' needs much intensity in acting, the director waited for Meera to get free from her obligations even though the plot of the movie was shared with her one and a half year ago.
The movie will also star Basil who made a promising debut with 'Cinema Company'. Basil looking high is currently on cloud nine getting a couple of roles in 'Karma Yodha' and 'Kaassh'.
Shajiyem started his career behind the camera making tele serials like Nizhalukal and American Dreams, stepped into film industry with Parasparam featuring Nedumudi Venu and Zarina Wahab in lead.
Miss Lekha Tharoor Kaanunnathu is expected to be a gift for the malayali audience who always had given grand reception to those movies which truly carried a soul in it.
