M G University degree admission course trial allotment 2014 results list is likely to get published on 14th June (Saturday) at http://www.cap.mgu.ac.in/. As per the M G University CAP schedule 2014 (revised), the Provisional Rank List & Trial Allotment will be published on www.cap.mgu.in, official website. Students can modify, rearrange options from 13th June. The first allotment is expected to get published later.
Mahatma Gandhi University has announced the date of publication of the provisional index mark and trial allotment list for admission to degree courses in affiliated arts and science colleges. As per the M G University CAP schedule 2014 (revised), the Provisional Rank List & Trial Allotment is likely to get published on 14th June 2014(Saturday).
Candidates who had applied for the courses can check the trial allotment by logging in the official CAP portal of the University. The trial allotment will give the students idea about the chances of getting allotment to a degree course in a college. After the period earmarked for revising options, first allotment list will be published in the official website of the University.
To check the allotment in their UG CAP profile page, candidates must have to login with the application number and password. As done in the previous year, the University will give convenient time for the students to correct / modify the option details and data entered in the online application. Being a popular University in Kerala, many students wish to pursue their education with Mahatma Gandhi University. Much interestingly, students from other states also keep high interest in joining colleges under the University. With the introduction of new courses, there will be a marginal increase in the number of seats for various undergraduate programmes offered by the University. There is likely to be an increase in the number of seats; from the existing 21,000 seats. All the seats in government colleges will be filled through CAP, while the 70% of the seats in aided colleges and 50% in unaided colleges will only come under the single window system (SWS).
The Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) has already got well appreciation for students and parents for its simplicity and lucidity. Other than applying for multiple courses and colleges in just one application, students can track their admission process online.
Over 6,000 seats will be made available for science courses under the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). The B.Sc. programme in maths has the highest number of seats with about 1,570 seats available in various affiliated colleges. The available seats from some of the undergraduate programmes are as follows: B. Com – 6,278; B.A. Economics – 1,941; B.A. English – 2,102; B.Sc. Zoology – 999; B.Sc. Botany – 975; BBA – 497; B.Sc. Chemistry – 1,354; BCA – 545; B.A Politics – 180; B.Sc Physics – 1,348; B.Sc. Maths – 1,574.
