Indian Overseas Bank is one of the oldest public sector banks in India head quartered in Chennai, with more than 2,000 branches spread across the country. Recently IOB has invited applications for the position of POs. Now the bank is on a recruitment drive to appoint 1100 clerks to its various branches. Details are posted below.

Written Test: 29.05.2011

Eligibility


Should be between 18 – 28yrs of age, as on 1.1.2011
Must have secured 65% marks in 12th (HSC) OR 60% in Diploma in banking & finance OR 50% in degree (any discipline), as on 1.1.2011
Fluency in english & ability to read/write/speak the language of state is essential.
Working knowledge in computers is required or should posses within 6 months.


Selection


Will be based on the performance in the Written test & Interview. For each wrong answer in objective test, there will be negative marks (0.25). Based on the performance in the written test, candidates would be shortlisted for Interview. There will be no descriptive test.

Gen/OBC: Rs.250
SC/ST: Rs.50
Should be paid at any Indian Overseas Bank branch before March 25, 2011.After payment is made with the provided challan, online application has to be filled & submitted with necessary details.The printout of this form can be saved for future reference.
