Punjab Police Recruitment 2011-100 Constables I.T and Computer Operators
Punjab Police invites applications from Indian Nationals including both Male and Female candidates for the post of Constables I.T operators / Computer Operators in Punjab Police Information Technology & Telecommunication Wing. The details for the recruitment as follows:Constables I.T. Operators / Computer Operators
Total No. of posts : 100 posts
Pay scale : Rs. 5910 – 20200/- with grade pay of Rs. 1900/- ( PB – 2 )
Age limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years of age as on 1st January 2011
Place of duty : Anywhere in Punjab, India and even abroad.Qualification
Candidate should have passed 12th class from the State Board of Education/Any Recognized Board along with 1 year of Computer Operator Programming Assistant (COPA) Course from Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) & also should have undergone 1 Year Apprenticeship (Industrial Training)
OR
should have passed matriculation examination from the State Board of Education/ Any recognized Board along with Diploma in Computer Engineering/Information Technology (Duration 3 Years) from a recognized State Polytechnic Institute/College
OR
should have passed 12th class from the State Board of Education/Recognized University along with B.Sc.(IT) or BCA or PG Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) or similar or higher qualifications related to Information Technology from recognized university.
Note: Punjabi Language is compulsoryPhysical standard

How To Apply
The interested candidates can apply in prescribed format in two ways.
a) Candidates paying cash of Rs 150/- for application form in any working days from 10 am to 5 pm from offices of Commissioners of Police of Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar and all offices of the Sr.Superintendent of Police, Original cash receipt is to be attached with application form.
b) Application form can also downloaded from the website www.punjabpoliceindia.org, and send it along with all attested photo copies of necessary certificates and Demand draft to the following address, on or before, 04/04/2011,
