The new edition ‘Idea Star Singer Season 6’

Though the 5th season came to an end with Kalpana Ragavendra as the title owner, Idea Star Singer continues its journey by introducing the new edition "Idea Star Singer Season 6". The new contestants were blessed with the presence of great singer K.J. Yesudas who inaugurated the new edition. Through this, Asianet introducing 30 new talented singers to the music world.

After the inaugural moment the contestants came to stage by singing Ganagandharvan's melodies on beside of his presence in the stage. It feels like a real honor to the great singer and ofcourse it should be a blessing to new star singers that they got a golden chance to share the stage with Sri K.J. Yesudas in their beginning step itself. Idea Star Singer Season 6's logo was screened during the function.

The main attraction of Idea Star Singer is always its prominent judging panel. In this season the participants got a great and committed judges; the worshipers of pure music. Great Singer Hariharan, Music Queen K.S. Chitra, Singer and music composer M.G. Sreekumar, voice of melodies Anurada Sreeram and Musician M. jayachandran. Exclude Hariharan, all others were present in the inaugural function. Except hariharan and M.Jayachandran, other three judges were in the judging panel of Season 5. Hariharan in the first time in Idea Star Singer, while M. Jayachandran is coming back after a 5 year break; he was one of the judges in the first edition that is Idea Star Singer 2006.

The first price of Idea Star Singer season 6 will given by Confident Group. The first price is a Villa worth One Crore. The new edition will start from 26th September 2011 onwards at 8pm.
