About Tholpetti Wildlife Sanctuary Tholpetti Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Wayanad district of Kerala. It is an exotic wildlife sanctuary in the Kerala-Karnataka borders. The sanctuary is very famous for its tigers. Herds of deers are also eye catching.Enbidhur, The famous elephant protection area in South India is also located near it. Tourists usually visit this place to enjoy the wildlife present here.

Accessing Tholpetti Wildlife Sanctuary The sanctuary is situated 7kms away from Mananthavadi-Kattikkulam road of Wayanad. The main entry gate is in the stste of Karnataka. It is 24 kms away from Mananthavadi. It can be accessed from Karnataka also by Nagarhole. Those who coming from Mysore has to travel 100 kms and from Ooty it is 160 kms. Accommodation Facilities Tourists can accommodate in natural habitat. Many tree houses and shades are arranged by the tourist authorities here.
