Neduvathoor was a concession constituency.
All the boundaries of constituencies in Kollam district have changed in Kerala assembly election 2011 except Chavara constituency. In last Lok Sabha election UDF got leads in Pathanapuram, Kottarakkara, Kunnathur, Karunagappally, Chavara, Kundara, Kollam, Eravipuram constituencies.
