CPM district secretariat has finalized the candidates for CPM in Alappuzha constituencies for Kerala Assembly election 2011. CPM will contest in six seats in Alappuzha district out of nine constituencies in the district.
CPM have their candidates in Alappuzha, Ambalappuzha, Mavellikkara, Chengannur, Kayamkulam and Aroor constituencies. CPI will contest in Cherthala and Haripad constituencies in Alappuzha district. NCP will contest in Kuttanad constituency in Alappuzha district for Kerala assembly election 2011. One of the notable man which is not present in candidates list is V.S Achuthanandan.
