Milma price to be increased from 5 September 2011

dfdsfMilma was founded in the year 1980 with its headquarters at Thiruvananthapuram, located in Kerala state of India. P. T. Gopala Kurup is the Chairman of Milma. The latest news regarding Milma(The Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation) is that they will increase the price of milk from 5 September 2011 onwards.

The Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation is also known as KCMMF. As a result the price of milk will increase by Rs 5 a litre. The prices per litre of varieties of milk are

1.Double-toned milk: Rs 27
2.Toned milk: Rs 28
3.Homogenized toned milk: Rs 30
4.Non homogenized jersey milk: Rs 30
5.Rich plus milk: Rs 31
6.Standardised milk: Rs 31

Also note that for a 500 gm. pack the new price of skimmed milk curd will be Rs 17. But for some time milk & its related products would be sold in packets containing the old price. The main reason is due to the delay in getting packets with new prices printed on them.
